Welcome to Annapolis's first and finest Herbal Apothecary.

branch 2:   food therapies

Let's understand the energetics and varied qualities of the whole foods we eat and the beverages we drink. East Asian food therapy tells us there's no one diet for everyone! Understanding food as the 'herbs we eat' also supports the balance of living in our days.

Let's tend ourselves with organics, foods and tonics that support our unique needs.

Through observation and partnership we can transform our relationship with food and change our body too. Let's learn to love the gifts we have in the body we know!  Together we'll make strong "Farm-to-Table" connections with local organic farms for delightful foods that serve us and our environment.

Let's practice and learn new techniques for self-care in cooking and food preparation, with one to one and small group workshops with Inner Landscape Wellness.

branch 4 & 5:   acupuncture, moxabustion,
gua sha, cupping and body work

East Asian traditions and Chinese Medicine also involves massage (called Tui Na)  and other traditional techniques such as Gua Sha, cupping, and moxibustion.

Acupuncture treatments rooted in classical Chinese teachings are safe and effective to gently support your body in making changes.  For acute concerns to bi-weekly, monthly, or seasonal 'tune-ups' your body's wisdom is enabled by the needles to shift and heal naturally.  The acu-points are chosen following natural laws and serve as gentle reminders to your whole being.

We will develop a formal treatment plan and use a combination of varied therapeutic techniques. Many provided through your health insurance coverage too! Just bring your co-pay.

The initial treatment is typically around 2 hours in length, while Follow-up treatments typically last one hour. You'll be delighted to know it's relaxing and comfortable too!

And.... if you really don't want (the tiny) needles consider requesting acupressure, special seed treatments, tapping, laser treatments, or health coaching sessions instead.
